Audio-Visual Ministry
The purpose of the Audio-Visual Ministry is to serve God by spreading His Word through multimedia. We make audios and videos of our services available to those who would otherwise not be able to attend our church. The Audio Visual ministry at First Baptist is led by Bill Blackburn. Bill has many years of audio-visual experience.
Just a few short years ago, the main purpose of the A-V department was to maintain the sound levels during the worship service. Under Bill's direction, this ministry has expanded greatly to include an enhanced sound system and dual remote-controlled video cameras in the main Sanctuary. We have production capabilities including video mixing of our Traditional service as well as multimedia projectors in the main sanctuary and in the CLC. Our Sunday Traditional service is now broadcast on the local access channel for West Carolina Communications. Audio of Pastor Antone's sermons are available on our website. DVDs of our contemporary and traditional services are available to shut-ins. Audio CDs of our traditional service are also available.
If you would like to have a DVD or other recording of our services, please contact the church office or contact a member of our Audio-Visual Department.
