Spirit-led Transformation Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Worship Service Times

At First Baptist, we offer different styles of worship: a contemporary-style worship service called Encounter Service and a traditional worship service.

Sunday
8:30 AM  - Encounter Service - Features contemporary Christian music and our Praise Team. This service is held in the Christian Life Center building (on Ellis Ave.).

9:45 AM - Sunday School - Dynamic learning experience for all age groups. Classes are held in very diverse areas throughout the church. Please contact us for specific information.

11:00 AM - Traditional Worship Service - This service is held in the Sanctuary of the main building (facing N. Main St.).

6:30 PM - Evening Worship Service - This service also takes place in the main building. The format of this service will vary. Oftentimes, it consists of consecutive weeks of study on a certain topic or book of the Bible.

Wednesday
6:30 PM - Prayer Meeting - This service takes place in the Sanctuary (located in the main building). It usually consists of a prayer time for our Nation, Christian missionaries, church members and individuals in our community. This is followed by a brief Bible study if time permits. Quarterly and special Business Meetings are conducted during this service.

6:30 PM - ENGAGE STUDENT MINISTRY - Meets in the CLC. A youth-based worship service for ages 7th grade through college. There students worship the one true God in an open and honest way through contemporary praise and worship and Bible Study.  We dive into God's Word in an effort to grow closer to Him and learn more about how God wants us to live.  This is a great time of spiritual refreshment, fellowship, and learning.

6:30 PM - Children In Action - Children in Action is a missions discipleship class for children in grades 1–6. They split up into two groups (grades 1-3 & 4-6). Every boy or girl has an important place in Children in Action. Members of Children in Action learn about and pray for missions. They do missions work and give money to missions. Plus, they have a great time!
